Fun with Myth

Some recent works which deal with Greek myth in novel and interesting ways:

Scott Emmons (PhD in Classical Studies from Indiana University) is by day a Hallmark card writer. By night he writes goofy verse on Greek myth and publishes it on Take a look!

Famed fantasist Ursula LeGuin has a new (2008) book out on Lavinia, Aeneas's Latin wife in the Aeneid. Vergil's spirit is a character. Lavinia, New York: Harcourt, 2008. ISBN 978-0151014248.

Classical archaeologist Marie Phillips has published Gods Behaving Badly, an ironic and clever novel about the Olympian gods. New York: Little, Brown and Company, 2007. ISBN 978-0316067621.
